Digital x-ray detectors are mainstream since 10 years ago. And some other companies make flat panel detectors. Samsung's advertising is misleading in saying they are beginning the "x-ray digital era".

Does the samsung fpd need calibrating every 
24hrs? and a constant power supply?

Now that's a weird aspect ratio, equal number of pixels, but 45 x 46cm ? I thought that a circle has to be a circle, not an oval, on x-ray.
