How can you even remotely entertain the thought of comparing the pathetic coding of a hotmail account with that of gmail's. Please people. 

Stop trying to remain futilely loyal to some inferior account just because you don't want to lose that ridiculously stupid account name mr_darth_vader@hotmail.com. 

And pop3 is what is important to a lot of people.... whoever made that comment.

There is nothing wrong with Hotmail at all, it now has 1GB of storage, I have over 4000 emails and am at 15%. It's definitely no 2MB's.

This piece was quite meaningless. Okay, Gmail offers space, and it gradually increases. So? And Intel builds CPUs and every year they put out a faster one...

BTW, Microsoft's mail offers 5GB and Yahoo "unlimited".

hotmail is at 5GB now, but no one cares about that either. after using it for many years, probably almost a decade, i've only managed to use up 12% and that's only cause i receive 2mb+ pictures from my family often

did anyone get the gmail file system to work, i have only read about it. Maybe there needs to be a yahoofs too, that would be interesting since they claim to be unlimited. I can imagine having a nice 14/mbsec dump.

6GB is not comparable to unlimited space at Yahoo, only advantage of GMail is POP3 access (what is not important for majority)

I have had a gmail account for years and cannot crack 50%. Currently I am at 43% and have never deleted anything but spam. I could really use some labels within labels if you know what I mean.

my hotmail account has just as much as my google 2 gb to 3 gb, roughly, and i also find my google acct gets lambasted with spam alot more then my hotmail, hotmail always has but its a steady amount, my google gets 1000's a hour and there filters dont block asmuch filling my inbox aswell as my bulk.
