Look this where found in a new driver:

GPU double precision in the mainstream ?!

quote: "Not a lot of people know that main target of RV670 is to establish CTM as a viable alternative to Nvidia's Tesla,"

Hmm. Phenom, double bandwidth PCIe 2.0, memory controlers, low power. Any idea how a 2.4 GHz Phenom might o'clock under Thermalright's new Ultima 90? And here was I about to settle for X38 + Q6600.

thanks for the update!
Hey. I really like your site but you should really check you texts before publishing them. Words are often missing from your sentences (eg. "the", "if", sometimes bigger words). It doesn't make the text unreadable but it does make it seem unprofessional. You guys are good and you get your information earlier than most other sites I've visited, you just need to work on your grammar.

Cheers,
Frank

P.S. I'm from Canada so maybe this is just a cultural thing...
Excellent.
