Seeing Intel AD's on this website non stop shows this is a intel payed website. Half of the things said here are bogus inaccreate and way off.

What you clam isn't even close to what AMD should be getting credit for. This is only a Biolog and shouldn't be taken seriously in some of its false clams.

AT adds: Not seen the AMD ads, then?
Talk about power hungry, here's my experience for what it's worth. I have been assembling a C2D 6850 for a colleague and I can assure you there is nothing power efficient about it or the platform. It managed to overload my power brick, a feat unable to be matched by either of my high end 5000 X2 or 9600 BE's. The C2D/Q CPU may have a compeditive TDP listed, but the platform it sits on is as power hungry as hell.
The original quad core's based on Kentsfield(65)nm were more power efficient under load and idle then any Barcelona revision, let alone clovertons(65)nm or yorkfields(45)nm. its "technological" merits of being a "native" quad core is shit obviously if it's outperformed even before its released.
if AMD knew their shit they'd hold on to ATI, tight.
There are rumours, that the joke "ArabMicroDevices" will be come reality:
They will invest some billions in AMD, seperating the fabs, concentrating on emerging markets, building the next fab near AbuDhabi, etc ...
Is this same Barcelona that that AMD announced nearly two years ago will need major bios revision or some substitute, phoney, Barcelona?

It seems more wheel chair version of Professional athlete, what? Public dosn't deserve true Barcelona, just some recutter?
