And Tame Comsumers!!!

Yeah, this is the second coming, so they think...
how can people be so blind? This is what you need to to get an iPhone:
"To purchase and activate iPhone 3G, you need the following:*
* Credit card
* Social security number
* Valid government-issued photo ID
* Current wireless account number and password or PIN (if you’re new to AT&T)"

As if you are buying a Ferrari. What the F***
Does Apple want your life too?

Yeah, it may be the second coming for some obtuse people; but I will never buy a phone that you have to connect it to only one carrier, and a phone that has a non detachable battery, as if you have to carry a plug with you all the time; maybe Apple expect you to connect it to your AS*.

Nick still as autoerotic as ever..

Why would anyone be stupid enough to accomodate anyone who p1sses on them all the time?

Nick, do you know the difference between critique and whining?

You are surely the biggest w4nker on the INQ-team, and that's no small feat.... :)

Jesus Phone second coming?

The iPhone has "shortcomings"?? MY WORD!!! How can that be? It is after all made by Apple. They wouldn't short change us (The public), would they? LOL!!! I read somewhere that the hardware is exactly the same and that the 3G bit is simply a software update. anyone with an 1.0 iPhone is an idiot to go out and by the same phone with a mere software update. Save the money, download the update, logon to the app store and get your apps and be done with it. Until they put in a replaceable battery and an SD card slot, I don't need one.

Well....

Not sure I agree. Each author devoted ample space to the significant drawbacks, even Mossberg.

Really Nick?

Nick, are you miffed that Apple did not send you the Jesus Phone?

As for me, I just hope enough idiots go out and get an iPhone so that Apple's stock price goes up. I have money riding on their stock.

cheers,

INQ Poll

Authorities in several countries raided Megaupload recently, shut down all of its services, seized hundreds of servers and arrested several of its executives on criminal charges.

Do you think the move was justified?
