Of course...

... try doing the speed test after you've downloaded a few gigs of data and VM have started throttling your connection. Then see how honest their bandwidth promises are.

thatll explain why virgin is blowin its trumpet about net speedtests being inaccurate and want more accurate testing, namely SamKnows hardware, where virgin just so happens to do well O_o se here :- http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/7669713.stm

well i suppose its a step in the right direction ...an admission of sorts that your really bad at providing bandwidth!! ..use to be great service 8 years ago they were the first people to offer free internet on dial up then they sold me a 150k line ping times of 16 - 20ms around the country faultless!!! then everyone else joined the internet.. :(
