If I were you, I would get a board from a retail channel and pay for a test.
I already had some experience with noisy Gigabyte boards (various buzzing, squealing, etc audible when listening to muted audio output) so I am not surprised.
A very nice well-written and humorous recovery! But as the story goes, research done by the supplier or the competitor is usually not to be trusted any-ways. The only true test of hardware is in a controlled, well-documented environment, oh, and being non-bias also helps! But honestly if I got my hands on one of these boards I would over clock until I could no more. So above standard EMI is expected. Please note that your PDF linqs are broken.
