So, if a Dell customer in India has a problem with their computer, do you reckon they get through to an English call-centre to someone that speaks poor Indian?
It's not that the internet is widespread here.

It's just that Dell is very expensive. For example, an 22" non-Dell LCD that costs $300 sells for $300.

A 22" Dell LCD that costs $450 excludes ~$50 shipping(!), some extra tax $50+(!), + something else in addition to 4.2% tax and 2 weeks shipping.

I ordered a 19" monitor a while ago and almost paid twice of what was available elsewhere.

Dell is good but they got the whole pricing stuff wrong. Am I crazy to buy one monitor when I can get 2?
Dell is selling their PCs in a non direct way as well since a longer time...

...this is nothing Dell implemented for the emerging markets but somewhere near you you might be able to pick up a Dell and run away with it - but I recommend to pay for it first ;)
