I'm in full agreement with Kai Robinson. I have paid £400 for vista ultimate. What do my privileges include? A guessing game as to what will run, if it runs whether it will run next time, and of course how often and when it will freeze up if you are lucky enough to get a runner. Oh, and to top it all, Flight Simulator X - muted to be optimised for Vista crashes - and crashes relentlessly. How can they get it so wrong without actually doing it on purpose?
If Microsoft still haven't put back a method to disable driver signing in x64 after removing the ability consistently in their 'updates', and apparrently again in SP1 - whats the point of buying vista? It just screams 'vendor lock in'. If i buy an overpriced OS - i should be able to load whatever software i damn well please!
