I support AMD fully and im hopin to go phenom in the next few month !!!! ^_^
Ive read alot of articles on these comparisons and all u ever hear about is overclocking!!!!
Now i have a question:
Are all these bench marks really needed to play new generation gaming or is it all because u Intel diehards want to belittle AMD!
Since im economic wise i'll NOT WASTE $700 for a intel quad so i can overclock it for no good reason what so ever!! CUZ in the end a phenom will still max out all the next generation games for an affordable price!!!!!
U intel diehards are like a bunch of lap dogs!!! just willing to pay what intel asks for!!!
Well, whilst the chips are slower than Intels current offerings, the technology is more elegant. For me at least this does make a difference, oh and of course the fact that I simply love to support the underdog. However, I have no doubts in my mind that AMD will once again return to the top. This, though, is a moot point at the time of this writing so I have only one question for you; will you sell me your Phenom 9900? (Yes, I am quite serious).
How stupid can this benchmarks be???
You compare a 4.47 processor with ddr3 ram and an 2.8 processor with ddr2 ram???
Why not compare an core 2 duo @ 2.2ghz with an 60 eyro mobo and my 6400+ with asus m3a32-mvp deluxe?????
What kind of comparison is that? You are comparing a slower cpu with a MUCH higher speed cpu and claiming the x38 is much better, when in fact the only thing that made it better was the huge speed difference in the cpu.

I guess AMD might as well give up then all you Intel/Nvidia fanboys can wipe off your big grin on your face when you reach for your wallet to pay for your Intel/Nvidia parts when they have no competition.
Xbit Labs hit 3GHz with theirs.

"Once the voltage of the memory controller and HyperTransport bus was raised from the default value to 1.25V, the system passed all stability tests impeccably."

Based on the numbering, 9900 is almost the max number for the series, so Phenom is short lived?

AMD having bigger plan?

Or Intel Inside Spider do works, better earning right?
treat me the way you wanna do... (sorry, couldn't resist.)

But seriously, Phenom sucks, we get it. You've been headlining it every day. Everyone knows it now, AMD was full of crap when they touted the advantages of a 'true' quad core. We've known that since... October?

Benchmarking Phenom, over and over, vs. Intel's Quad is... predictable, to say the least.

How many different ways of saying the same thing can you make into a new article?
(that is not a challenge...)
My god that's bad. Brings back memories of Celeron 300A vs K6 days... only the Celery is a super heavyweight and the K6 is a dehydrated flyweight who hasn't eaten in weeks.

They need to pull a miracle rabbit out of a hat fast.

Would someone please show us some sub-zero numbers from Phenom!

these benchmarks are stupid, why are you comparing a 4.27ghz intel to a 2.8ghz AMD? clock them the same then do some benchmarks..
