On New Year's Day I went online to order an item from Dell. The final cost showed that I had been charged
14% HST. A online chat inquiry responded that the new rate would be available on Jan 2. I then made 1 800 781 7401 call and was told I had to buy an expended warrantee. The amount was small but did Dell collect 1% on all their sales on Jan 1st?
