I remember paying $240 CDN for a 4 meg stick and thinking it was a great deal since it had been going for $400 for 4 megs.

At those prices, the 2 gigs of DDRII I just bought would be over $16,000. Ahh... memories....

How about $600 for a 100 megabyte scsi drive.

How about my neighbour that paid $800 for a ten megabyte hard drive the size of a small car. ;*)

Back in my day we had to store programs on 110 baud Teletype printouts. Sometimes you couldn't even tell an Oh from a One.
...the reason pc memory is so cheap is because of what they charge for apple memory. Thanks, dewds...

I sure wish I had waited a bit...I spent over $300 on some DDR2 SODIMMs....which are now under $30.
I can remember years ago paying $320 for 128MB stick of PC100. Today I saw 1Gig stick of PC6400 for $9.99.
I've already asked for another kit of Corsair 2x1GB C4-PC2-6400 DDR2 for Christmas in anticipation that prices will further drop.
