the French have much longer memory ?

What kind of bollocks is that ?
The French have no more memory than anybody else, and as small an attention span as most.
If that were not the case, the successive French governments would not have been able to avoid the ever-growing debt of Securité Sociale for over three decades, nor would they have waited so long to reform the retirement scheme, and, most importantly, the French government would not be able to continuously dig a deeper hole of public debt to fund its voracious appetite.
But, thanks to Democracy, the government can continue merrily borrowing money it has less and less a hope to pay, while distracting "the people" with continuous runs of Desperate Housewives and Koh-Lanta.

"likely to breach public order"

Incroyable mais vrai !

We have seen that before, but apparently not learned from history. The French government not only adapts the same methods, but also the same rhetoric. I am talking about the Nazis!

REady to change the president

it is as simple as this, Mister Sako thinks he can do what ever he wants, playing Bush style ... the only difference is that the French have much longer memory ... I can t wait to see Sako losing the next election, Rich or not rich, this law is a violation of privacy.

We will be doing it peacefully, but Sako is leaving! we will make sure of it.

Do you think the move was justified?
