is get rid of that stupid "region" thing and we're set.

Hint: I can buy a book from Amazon in the US even though I live in New Zealand. I can also buy a CD, or a DVD.

So why can't I buy an MP3?

Really, what is the big news about "expanding" into new countries? If you can view the website from where you're sitting, you ought to be able to buy the music.
Thanks for the article, but how much is 1 song?

Can I get 7digital as part of my broadband deal? That's the crucial part for me, once that happens then it's game over for everyone else.
So you're telling me that someone is actually letting people outside of the USA buy legal music downloads?

I'm stunned!!!

Looks like music retailers have finally realised that there is more than one country on the planet.

So I'm browsing 7 digital, inspired after reading the article on the INQ. I come across some Doctor Who albums. Picking one at random, they have the Sting of the Zygons for £8.99. Pop over to Amazon and they've got it for £6.99.

Physical media for less than the download? With that pricing strategy, why would I download?
Brilliant move! Just tried it out, downloaded the free albums they are offering and I have to say I'm very impressed. I have always been one for buying CD's because of the stupid restrictions on tracks, now I will offically start downloading stuff :P I just hope this gives the online music industry the kick it needs.
Great to finally be able to buy legal MP3 files in the UK; I've been waiting for a long time for this!

Also I'm very impressed by the option to re-download in MP3 being free.

Kudos to all involved!

I'm now off to buy some songs :D

So we can have a race...
Who will make it into Canada with MP3s first, 7digital or Amazon?
