Why would it void the warranty?

Installing a different OS on a laptop can void your warranty? There goes ever installing Linux in wear of not being able to get my RAM repaired. I knew Linux was evil.

Why would this bother, instead of please, MSI?

If I were making Wind,
I'd be pleased as punch, if the end-customers were voiding the warranty on the thing, & installing OS X:

I'd have no liability for OS problems for those machines, from then on,

The machines would be selling,

I'd not be in the OS business, so it simply wouldn't compete against MY product...

Where's the problem?

I think the only one "frothing at the mouth" is a certain capuccino-junkie writer, hm?
