GAMES DEVELOPER Epic Games has lunched Infinity Blade II on the Apple App Store.
Infinity Blade II is the follow-up to the extremely popular original and is one of the first games to really give the Iphone 4S a run for its money with improved graphics and higher levels of detail. Apple claims the Iphone 4S can perform up to seven times better in graphics than the Iphone 4.
Epic Games said, "Powered by Epic's cutting-edge Unreal Engine 3 technology, Infinity Blade II takes handheld gaming to even greater heights with stunning visuals, new combat styles, and advanced character customization in a beautiful, fully 3D world."

Once again, you take on the role of Siris exploring a dynamic 3D world and battling with monsters, knights and assassins. There are new combat styles such as dual weapons wielding and you can customise your character.
The game is as close as you will get to a full PC or console game on a mobile phone but importantly the game has been developed specifically for IOS rather than being just a port of an existing title.
The app costs £4.99 and make sure you've got some space on your Igadget because the download is a reassuringly large 941MB. Compatible Apple products include the Iphone, Ipad and Ipod Touch.
Eurogamer said, "On the newest devices that are packing A5 chips especially, the game shines with gorgeous lighting that spills through stained glass windows and washes over open courtyards," and gave the game 8/10. µ
