Grand Theft Auto 5 trailer is out
CONSOLE SOFTWARE DEVELOPER Rockstar Games has taken the wraps off its trailer for Grand Theft Auto V, or 5, the latest installment in its baseball bats to riches crime series.
The trailer shows us that the game takes place in LA, or 'San Andreas' as it is known locally, and 'Vinewood', which is shown in a Hollywood-style sign reveal at the end.
Other clues include a beach that looks like Venice beach, mountains that look like Big Bear and a shot of some wind turbines that look like the ones in front of the Joshua Tree national park.
The hero, or anti-hero, tells us in voiceover that he moved there with the kids for the weather, but the action tells a different story. "I guess it was the weather, or you know, 'that thing'," he says. He wanted to be a good guy for once but, he adds, "You know how it is." µ

I bloody well hope so. Even if you are unlikely to be Carl Johnson or run with the Grove Street O.Gs like Sweet again, I just cannot wait.
This game, unlike GTA IV which I to this day haven't bought on any format, has just jumped onto the "gotta have this game, even at full price list" currently occupied by Skyrim.
I am of course gutted that they haven't gone back to Vice City as I just loved that game, the decade, the environmental effects, the music, sun rise on the beach.
I am happy if it was anywhere else it was san andreas, being from the UK i would have hated to see it in london. I wonder how far out from vinewood they will go, is they will include the rest of los santos, san fiero, las venturas and all the countryside between like whet county, bone county, red county and whetstone.
That was one thing that really pissed me off about GTA4, it was all just city, no countryside, no missions like driving a lorry with a trailer to make cash, etc. I just hope they put in some great east and west facing beaches for sunrise and sunset as i didn't like the south facing beach in vinewood and some excellent music is a must, music in GTA4 got old quick, i want lots of variety, modern, classic, pop, 70's, 80's, 90's, rock, heavy metal, rnb, hip hop, jazz/funk, dance, trance. If they need to do some sort of hook up with spotify with real adverts mixed in with their fake adverts then so be it because we get adverts anyway on radio.

Obviously set in San Andreas. I noticed silencers on the AK. Drop tops on the convertables. Maybe you can buy and sell homes. Also, there was a moment where I saw a dog in the beggining. Train your pitbulls to attack?
