UPCOMING GAME TITLE Star Wars Kinect and the limited edition version of the Xbox 360 with the same theme have been postponed until 2012.
We we hope you're all feeling patient because you'll have to sit tight until after the Christmas holidays to get your hands on Star Wars Kinect and its special edition console. The products were due to arrive in time for Christmas this year.

Microsoft told The INQUIRER, "Microsoft and LucasArts have elected to move the launch of Kinect Star Wars beyond holiday 2011 to ensure the full potential of this title is realized. This move applies to both the Kinect Star Wars stand-alone game and the Kinect Star Wars Limited Edition Console. We will communicate additional timing information at a later date."
This is the only information we have so it's unclear why the two are being pushed back. We assume that there is a problem with game development and the console will include a copy of the game so it can't be released without that.
Another possibility that we have thought of is the clash with the release of the Star Wars films on Blu-ray, which are due to tip up next month.
We enjoyed Star Wars Kinect at last month's Microsoft Christmas showcase event and it made us excited to see the launch, so we hope the delay gets sorted out. µ
