THE MAKER of the Xperia Play, also known as the 'Playstation phone', Sony Ericsson has announced a set of games and accessories it calls the Experience Package.
The package dubbed Xperia XP151 makes the Xperia Play a more attractive option for gamers with a selection of games from Gameloft. These include Assassin's Creed, Uno, Real Football 2011, Modern Combat 2, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Conviction and NOVA 2.
One thing that we thought when we reviewed the handset was that the games made available for it were something of a deal breaker for its success. So the new game titles should give the gaming phone a helping hand.
Punters will get the choice of three games that can be downloaded using a QR code included with the package or online using a voucher and an activation code.

Sony Ericsson includes a bundle of accessories in the Experience Package. Most notable is the DK300 Multimedia Dock. We have almost no information about the dock apart from the fact it charges your phone. In the photos the dock has an audio jack so we assume that the dock can play music from the phone through a separate sound system.
There is also the EC300 Pocket Micro USB cable for easier charging on-the-go and the MC100 Music Cable for connecting the Xperia Play to a home stereo system. From what we can see these are effectively a short USB cable and a jack to jack audio cable.
The Experience Package will be priced from £29.99 to £34.99 and will be available as early as next month. µ
