Duke Nukem Forever nears release, ups the sleaze factor

THE BABES AND BULLETS SENSATION that is Duke Nukem Forever is nearing release and is steering itself further and further away from polite society.

Out today are two things, one a trailer called Duke Nukem Autopsy and the other a web game called Duke Nudem. The former is a staged medical examination of one of Duke's victims, the latter a sort of strippers shoot-em-up, which beat The INQUIRER but might prove rewarding to others who have younger, faster reflexes.

The trailer breaks from showing gameplay and instead uses live action to remind us of some of the smutty humour found in the game.

In fact toilet is the operational word as at the end the morticians discover that Duke, as he so often promises to do, has torn off the victim's head and, well, left something down its throat. It is typically mad, and very bad.

As for the web game, that's billed as "a saucy shootout striptease game where nothing is left to the imagination". Well, either our mouse was too slow or the game was too fast for us.

Our advice to potential players is to use your dominant hand to play, no matter how tempting it might be to use the other one. µ
