Blaze announces a PS Move gun

Now’t to shoot at yet

JAPANESE GAMES VENDOR Sony gets another PS Move gun peripheral despite a lack of FPS games to play using it.

We were all told the PS Move would really take off when it could challenge the ninja twitch reflexes of the FPS fraggerati. But we're still waiting for Zipper Interactive to develop SOCOM 4 from the ground up to work with the PS Move. We're also waiting for Guerrilla games to retro-engineer Killzone 3.

In the meantime, that hasn't stopped the guns peripherals from coming out. A company called Blaze is releasing an under a tenner budget gun for PS Move. There's just nothing to shoot at yet, though.

The Blaze PS Move gun looks like its going for that sci-fi kick so it's nowhere near the design feel of Sony's more expensive PS Move Sharp Shooter Gun. This model has a red plastic trigger, red plastic top and will come with Sony's obligatory glowing orb at the end to pick up your movements.

The gun is designed to house the PS Move wand so it forms part of the barrel of the shooter. All the buttons can also be accessed and configured via a control window on top of the gun. That means you can select buttons and navigate games while holding the butt of the pistol.

Blaze reckons its gun is accurate, so if you miss anyone it's your rubbish aiming.

The Blaze PS Move gun will be out in February in the UK for £9.99. µ

Stupid

Just like all of the crap-tastic wii accessories. A proper light gun is the only solution to eliminate lag.
