Sonic the Hedgehog goes to Apple

GAMES PUBLISHER Sega has announced that it is shoving its Sonic 4: Episode I onto Apple's Iphone.

The outfit has decided to delay the launch of Sonic 4 to mix internal suggestions alongside fan feedback to make some new, positive changes to the game. The game will be in the shops in the latter half of this year.

According to a company spokesman, the Sega game will be on the Iphone and Ipod Touch. We guess that means it might also run on the Ipad.

Sonic The Hedgehog 4 Episode I is developed specifically for the download market and will be available via Microsoft XBLA, Sony PSN, Nintendo Wiiware and the iTunes App Store in late 2010.
