Orange and HMV launch mobile games

You might never have to read a book again

IN THIS WORLD full of gaming opportunities Orange and HMV have partnered to bring another one to mobile handsets.

oranges-and-applesGaming on mobile handsets is not new, but this tie-up will be available to all customers across the major UK networks, the firms said, and will include games that you might actually have heard of. Which is nice for a change.

According to Orange the service, called HMV mobile games, should work on any handset with Java enabled, and only requires sending an SMS message to gain access. Orange reckons that some 1,000 different handsets should be able to benefit from the service and is presumably hoping that all of their owners text 'HMV' to 87010 for access.

Those who subscribe will be offered the chance to download over 400 games including Fifa Manager 10, Call of Duty MW2, and er, Tetris and Pac Man, which these days you could probably play on your grandma's hearing aid.

Prices for games start at £1, and new releases will be about a fiver. The service goes live on the 26th of March. µ

Obsidian Entertainment

Actually Obsidian Entertainment have 80% of original team. Its just a new name for them to start.
Fallout 3 engine or not, we can have a true Fallout sequel now and decent VATS system and of course
better dialogs and writing.
@17 yeah, you can enjoy it, but looking at the previous Fallout games its a dissapointment in everything.
Starting from cheap kindergarten dialogs and story and ending with bad VATS system.
