Russian desperadoes launch cyber attack on Lithuania
There are no supreme saviours
PESKY RUSSIANS are up to their cyber warfare antics again, it seems, and this time it's Lithuania under attack.
Some 300 Lithuanian web sites have been daubed with images of the Soviet red flag and are playing anti-Lithuanian songs, reports have it.
It seems some daft Russians are miffed that Lithuania banned the Soviet flag and other symbols, a few weeks ago, lumping them together with Nazi memorabilia.
Now a blizzard of cyber attacks are believed to originate from Mother Russia.
Lithuania joins fellow ex-Soviet satellite Estonia in having provoked the ire of Russian cyber attackers.
In the case of Estonia, the code barrage was apparently sparked by the decision the remove a Soviet war memorial from central Tallinn. µ

i'm not really scary..
It seems our government is though, having to little knowladge of these kind of threats it looks like no one knows what to do.But we,simple people, a.k.a geeks know what its all about,two servers of a hosting company were hacked ,all the sites that were hosted there got it. It was quite easy for them bad people to do their stuff, firms it dept. was suffering from inefficient workers.Anyhow down with commies!
Government websites were hacked also
Not only "some websites from a single hosting company", but also some government public sites where attacked. I think russian government is still deeply pro-soviet.How does everything looked like

Just to be exact:The soviet monument was not removed. It was moved from a busy bus stop, where people were walking on graves, to a military cemetary.
