Job ad points to GPS on Apple road map

Iphone product designer sought

APPLE IS LOOKING for a product designer to work on the Iphone and the wording seems to confirm that satellite navigation is definitely on the cards for future releases.

The ad is looking for someone to become part of "a cross-functional design team" which will "help to create the next generation of the world's finest handheld devices".

Buried deep in the Preferred Experience bit of the ad is a request that candidates should have experience in "the Integration of wireless antenna (GSM, GPS, Wifi) into mechanical enclosures."

Well if that ain't a big fat clue, Im gonna stop watching Murder She Wrote every afternoon. µ

Apple dont need no GPS, don't have to look where you're going, so long as you think other people think you're cool.

Is Apple for people who like to think they are cool, but are in fact very much "I'm with the herd"?

GPS has been out in phones for a few years and it's a great feature. I don't want to carry a tomtom with me (too big etc), but I always have my phone. And my phone itsn't an Apple, because it has got Tomtom on it!

Rock on Tomtom.
