Intuit gets a new logo

Too daft by half

IF YOU THOUGHT the old Intuit logo was bland, try the new one

Gone is the reddish-purple and face-outline-attacked-by-8-bit-bees look. It is replaced by a much more bland light blue script without bees.

Blue, grammatically incorrect and dull as dishwater

If anyone from Intuit PR is reading this, you forgot to dot the Is but you did dot the Ts. You aren't supposed to do that. No, really, dots go over the Is. Before you make the new logo public in a few weeks, move the dots two letters and one letter to the left respectively. Just a tip, we love you even if you ignore our sage advice. µ

Ah

But they're meant to look like people! Intuit is trying to portray an image of somehow being a family-friendly people-centric company - aw! Corporations should embrace their cold monolithic nature, with more blocky fonts spears and arrows in their logos and the tagline "We are your real masters and your votes mean nothing." Now there's real honesty for you.

Not so confusing

At least they didn't change the name.

I still haven't go to grips with what happened to good old Rockwell, ATT et al. I know one of them became Lucent and the other something like Conexivity (no, not that).

What marketing geniuses persuaded these major companies to dump names with massive brand-recognition for something new and totally stupid.

Intuit Logo

Surely an Arrow pointing towards a Goatse image is the most apt?

logo

Oh, the "T"s represent people.

Seriously, I wouldn't have noticed that and didn't notice that, which means it failed, which ultimately means its a crap logo.

If thats imagination, you're going to need truck loads of it to get it plus an explanatory note..

Bet they paid millions for that rubbish.
