Yahoo! sacks 1000 workers!

Go! Home! You're rubbish!

INTERNET OUTFIT Yahoo! said Tuesday it will axe 1000 employees to save money.

Yahoo co-founder and chief executive Jerry Yang said the job cuts will be accompanied by big investments to promote Yahoo to interweb advertisers.

"We will make targeted reductions," Yang said. Some bloke will sit on top of a big building in Yahooland with a Dragonov. Anyone spending too long on Myspace or lingering by the coffee machine could find themselves taken out.

The company only made 206 million dollars in the final three months of 2007, so pesky staff who haven't got their fingers out will have to go. It's all their fault. µ
