EVE gets all Steamed up

Valve turns, floodgates open

MMO, EVE is bringing its army of virtual players to Valve's Steam anti-piracy system.

The game will be the first MMO to be delivered over the network, a fact which makes publisher Iceland outfit CCP "immensely excited and honored," apparently.

To "celebrate" the launch gamers already signed to Steam's will be able to faff about in the virtual EVE universe for 21-days for free. By which time they'll be hooked, the cunning chaps at Valve have worked out. µ

Sorry, no

After playing both EVE and WoW I can tell you from experience that EVE is not half as addictive as WoW. Gameplay in EVE is just too slow and far less structured. Plus, the environs are not as diversified as WoW. Simply changing the nebulae in different systems just don't cut it. The only logical reason I can see for EVE doing this is to hopefully boost their subscribers.

CCO -> CCP?

Surely CCO should read CCP - Crowd Control Productions (http://www.ccp.is/)
