Chinese prefer business to sex

Unlike decadent westerners

GOOGLE says that while western countries are using its search engines for sex information, punters in China are more interested in business.

It is a piece of data which might explain why the Chinese economy is surging ahead while eye sight levels in the west are getting worse.

The top Googled terms in China were the names of two banks, the China Merchants Bank, the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China. The number three was 'stocks'.

The word 'sex' did not even make the top ten search topic behind the bamboo curtain, possibly because if you type it in you get a visit from Inspector Knacker of the Peking Yard.

According to the China Daily, the only indication that the Chinese ever stop thinking about business was that the search term “game” appeared at number five.

good reason

As I recall users behind he Great Firewall of China get shuttled to a police site if they are so silly as to directly search for sex sites...

You know...

Maybe they are actually having sex instead of jerking off to internet porn like westerners.

Sex and polupation

If Chinese like sex the same way European or American do, their population growth should slow down to about 0%. May be they should reconsider...

China and Sex... and everything...

What google doesn't say is, that they have an agreement with the chinese government, in censorship.

And we all now what is the stance of the chinese government when it comes to pornography.

Frankly, I really don't believe in it...

However, it is romantic for all the right-wing freaks, that really need something less depressing right now...

Poor search results

Since China censors websites related to sex, this would cause the search results related to sex to look like crap. Poor search results would then explain why "sex" is a bad search topic.
