Mozzarella wants to put a Fireferret in your troosers

Wibble while you walk

THE MOZZARELLA Foundation is to develop a mobile version of its Fireferret web arouser.

And a Fireferret in your pocker is enough to keep anyone aroused.

Mozzerella developer Mike Schroepfer let slip the plan in his bog. "We will ship a version of "Mobile Firefox" which can, among other things, run Firefox extensions on mobile devices," he typed.

He said the outfit has put a team on the plan and much beavering about is now taking place.

According to PC World here, the Mobile Ferret will be up and running on Symbian Windows Mobile and Linux in no time. µ

Finally?

So they've finally decided to do the thing Opera was successfully doing for years now? Great. Not that I'm interested >.<

Just how old are you ?

Mozzarella ? Fireferret ?

Grow up and stop this juvenile namecalling.
You're not 9 any more.

Stick to what you're good at .. reporting news.

Sounds Like Fun

This is good news for a lot of people, unless you're lactose intolerant and have animal allergies..l.

GIbberish

Uh what? hiskerdoodle with mishersmitch, wre going to huskenvanderhammer. Tippacannoe tylertoo what the hell. Is is just improper to use real name for fear of a lawsuit or something? Chimp and chimp zilla was bad enough. Who the hell is the Editor a 4 year old monkey? I think once you fall into the 5 year old Gibberish you CEASE to be a reputable news source, maybe thats why there are more companies regarding you as not serious journalists.

Firebadger?

I thought it was called Firebadger. Maybe they needed something a little smaller and quicker for the mobile version

Stick To What You're Good At

Indeed. Stick to reporting news, just like you always have. Don't go about changing the things that make LeInq, LeInq. You know, such as your humorous takes on company names. Certain people may dislike this and view it as "childish" or "juvenile". Perhaps these people should read the Guardian instead of whining incessantly on the comments section of individual articles.

RAM?

Won't your mobile phone need like 100MB of RAM to do that though?

I think mine has 2K, or is that 2K storage? :-)

You're new here aren't you

Lol, I'm suprised that anyone who reads this has that little of a sense of humor, but whatever. Should be nice, I'm a big fan of the Firefox so I'm anxious to see what they can do in the mobile industry.

>Mozzarella ? Fireferret ?

Actually, Mozzarella / Fireferret is the codewords that Microsoft uses when discussing the competition..

Where's Palm OS?

It's not like it's going anytime soon. There's a lot of Treos and Palm TXs out there.

let's not be hasty

"Stick to what you're good at .. reporting news."

Well....

Regardless, I'm with CeeJay, though I doubt any self-respecting nine-year-old would be caught writing randomized drivel as above. I'm not sure if there's a single noun in that article which is a real word.

It was bad before, but this is just idiotic. I've hung with The Inq through the awful interstitials, obnoxious double-green-underline ads, bad copy editing, and childish play-words, but it's getting to the point where I'm actually embarrassed to say I read it anymore.

I'd suggest you should be even more ashamed for having written it, but 'written' is a pretty generous term for the indecent assault on journalism committed above.

They already have one

here: http://www.mozilla.org/projects/minimo/

or do you mean instead of just PocketPC's ?

p.s. I wasn't too impressed with minimo the first time I tried it. Might be better now.

Beat IE

Hopefully this is another step towards the inevitable IE destruction!

Well it might happen right?

CeeJay - Its what makes the INQ different, don't like it? go somewhere else

Did I forgot to grow up?

Just for the record, old people also like a good laugh.
Changing names is one of the oldest features of the Inq. And good, sarcastic humor is ageless... Who wouldn´t giggle figuring out who is the "almighty vole", "Chimpzilla" or "Itanic" other than themselves?
It´s the only site where everyone is insulted equally. :-)
If you like analitic, robotic and boring news, go somewere else.

@CeeJay

Are you a new reader of the Inq perhaps?
