Spanky LG re-writer slimmer than a slim thing

But sexy? Be still my racing pulse
ELECTRONICS COMPANY LG has today launched its spanking new Slim Portable Super Multi, which is a USB powered 8x optical rewriter created especially for laptops.

The rewriter, catchily dubbed the GSA-E50N, is a slim little thing measuring in at just 21.4mm wide and weighing 380g. LG's latest creation is compatible with Vista and reads and writes in all three of your standard DVD formats, that's DVD+R/RW, DVD-R/RW and DVD-RAM. It comes packing Lightscribe technology too, which LG boasts will allow users to add character to their discs with some fancy labelling.

LG reckons that its DVD rewriter is the company's "sexiest" DVD rewriter yet. If you want yourself a sexy rewriter, you'll be able to nab one of the beggers in either black or white right about now.

Product manager at LG Suan Choi is all about the fashion, it would seem: "The growing trend amongst today's consumer is to have fashionably designed technology, particularly if it's to be used in public. Our aim with the Slim Portable Multi is to give people a stylish, state-of-the-art rewriter that they are proud to use in public." Show offs. µ
