Linux man Reiser flogs Namesys

Needs money for murder rap
LINUX PROGRAMMER Hans Reiser, who is facing a charge that he murdered his estranged wife, is flogging his open sauce outfit Namesys to pay his legal bills.

According to Wired, Reiser who is being held without bail in Santa Rita Jail, is running out of money to pay for his defence and needs to flog his company to pay the bills. Namesys owns the Reiser3 and Reiser4 file systems that are used by many Linux punters. William DuBois, Reiser's attorney, said that the sale was a unique opportunity for someone to buy the company for pennies on the dollar and "we welcome all vultures".

Reiser claims he is innocent and he spent the weekend of his wife's disappearance at home with his kids after she dropped them off.

Nina disappeared in early September following bitter divorce proceedings. No body has been found, but small drops of Nina Reiser's blood were found in his house and on his motorbike. The local coppers say that is enough evidence to arrest Reiser for murder.
