Sony "stole our ideas", Nintendo claims

Toys out of prams at dawn
THE UK BOSS of Nintendo accused Sony of adopting its technology ideas, according to a report. Nintendo's UK boss, David Yarnton, fumed to Computer and Video Gamesthat when his firm came up with a brilliant idea, Sony would pooh-pooh it, and then bring out something similar itself.

He said that one example of Sony's pooh-pooh procedure was over the motion sensing Wii controller.

Sony's Phil Harrison at the idea six months ago when Nintendo announced it was planning a motion censor, and now suddenly it seems to change his mind. "We launched our controller you said one thing, and now why are you doing this?'" Yarnton thundered at an imaginary Harrison.

He said that the reason Sony had to withdraw its rumble feature on its Playstation 3 was because it was an idea it borrowed.

He couldn't think of anything his company has borrowed from Sony. More here. µ
