Kingston hits DDR3 memory overclock heights

Cranked up really high

KINGSTON looks to have hit the record for RAM OCing, at least for a manufacturer OC.

If you look at the video on Youtube you will see the firm crank up some DDR3 to 2.13GHz.

This isn't a production part (CeBIT is tomorrow, place your bets), nor is it specified what they used other than unnamed reference DDR3 platform (X48) and standard HyperX memory.

That said, the simple fact that they can do it without exotic cooling heartening.

This week will probably have records falling all over the place, but as far as first salvos go, this is a damn good shot. µ
