SOFTWARE giant Microsoft has listed which programs do not work with its super-soaraway SP1 Vista upgrade.

It seems that the "super secure" Vista mostly has a real problem with other security programs. Trend Micro Internet Security 2008 it hates along with its family, friends and pets. BitDefender AV is blocked from even starting.

There are few other surprising software applications on the list too. The New York Times Reader application makes SP1 pack a sad and sulk.

Vole is telling users of these programs to consult with their application vendors to fix the problems. Some of them tell us that they already have patches so that they can run Vista.

Microsoft claims that many of the programs Vista has a problem with will continue to work after an SP1 upgrade, however they might experience 'loss of functionality'. In other words they will work like anyone does on a Friday afternoon. [You're fired Farrell - Ed] µ
