NATS web site suffers from mettle fatigue

Fright paths frighten people

THE FIRM that runs air traffic control over Blighty is having a mare of a time with its web site after it has proposed re-routing frights so planes spend more time over country than towns.

The site, nats.co.uk, is taking its time to respond and sometimes crashing, because subjects of Her Majesty can bung in their post codes to find out if pilots on planes will circle over their so-called “havens of peace”.

Village life in Blighty is said to be idyllic but in reality a day in a place like Princes Risborough is like taking Prozac for 30 years.

The Times published an amusing cartoon today suggesting that rich peasants in villages might spend their weekends in London to get some peace and quiet. µ
