Year of the Mouse brings DRAM to a halt

THE CHINESE NEW YEAR holidays start tomorrow, with most Taiwanese and Chinese vendors shutting up shop until the 11^th.

The new year is the year of the Mouse, or Rat if you prefer.

The word for mouse and rat is the same in many Asian languages. Just as well that boffin who figured out how to give mice colds made his announcement before the rodentine year swings into inaction.
