Microsoft develops mind reading tool

Thinking about the Ace of Spades right?

SOFTWARE magician Microsoft has developed a device that it claims can read your mind.

According to New Scientist magazine, the Vole has developed a way of reading data straight from your brain using EEGs.

The problem with using EEGs as a method of data gathering is that when you blink, scratch yourself, or think of beer, you screw up the brain signal.

Volish boffins have emerged from their smoke filled labs with an idea that involves filtering the EEG data so it separates cognitive information from dross.

Microsoft hopes that it can use the data to develop better interfaces which are more in tune with what the user's brain wants.

Of course it might also mean that it discovers that its software is unpopular right to the back of someone's brain stem.
