Novell releases desktop ready SuSE Linux 10.1

SOFTWARE FIRM Novell said it has released version 10.1 of SuSE Linux and it's either free or you can buy it in a package.

The firm said it includes over 1,500 software packages including openoffice.org, Firefox, GAIM messaging, multimedia tools and graphics software.

People who like the idea of Linux on the desktop will like this one, Novell said.

The download page is here - the retail edition will come in two weeks time and cost £60. µ
