Honestly...

Who exactly wakes up in the morning and thinks creating one of these kind of sites is a good idea? Surely they know the RIAA will be kicking the door in before they've even had time to finish breakfast!

Or maybe it's part of a bigger plan... Distract the RIAA with a daft idea like this, and whilst they're searching the marmalade for mp3's, sneak into their office and check the contents of their Ipods.

Has the RIAA actually been to the site?

The RIAA really is stupid cause the guys at project playlist don't upload any of the music themselves or host anything so they technically aren't at fault. Also they have links to legally purchase the music you find when available as well as other ways to support the artists and will remove songs from the search system if they find they are illegally uploaded.

The RIAA's real problem with the site is it gives people a chance to listen to the songs in their entirety before deciding if they want to buy them so they can't pawn bad music off on the unknowing public as easily.
