It is odd...
...that there is so much vocal discussion of Tibet in "the West" (whatever that may be). After all, the Chinese annexed Tibet some 50 years ago and have been running it fairly smoothly ever since. Even the Dalai Lama has long ceased to call for Tibetan independence. The level of protest is comparable to that of the independence movements in Wales and Scotland - and of course a lot less violent than what we have seen in Ireland. Meanwhile, our armed forces are occupying Afghanistan and Iraq, and in the latter have smashed the infrastructure, caused over 1 million excess deaths, and made over 5 million people homeless. Not many protests about that. So yes, the Chinese are quite right: there is a lot of hypocrisy going on."more and more verbal"?
Don't you mean "more and more vocal"?AT adds: you're a smart guy. How'd you like a job with us?
AT really adds: Nice try but no cigar.
It`s how things are done these days
Lol media starts intervention of the US Army. Every single mission of peace keaping that the USA started had this course:First plague the public view of the problem, in a way that serves the interest of our contry leadership (the top 1% of capital owners)
and then send the Army (+navy, airforce...) and conquer the contry.
Now you can exploit the natural resources of the country with the world thinking that you are a stabilization force...
