Verizon vs. Time-Warner
Well, as much as I dislike Time Warner and Roadrunner, because I live in what Verizon considers a "rural" area (only 10 miles from the New York state capital building in Albany), it will be a LONG time before Verizon provides DSL or FiOS to compete with TW/RR. And with the charges for Verizon POTS rising; I made the switch to TW digital phone service without breaking a sweat.I'd like some competition to TW/RR, but it isn't going to come from Verizon.
