Looks like Hector is turning AMD into another SCO. Though I don't see where they are getting the money to actually sue anyone.

Patents are a gigantic mess.

Welcome to 2008 when the lawyers and corporations have become so mad with power they will sue at the drop of a hat.

Why not sue me for making a comment on the internet?

Dangerous ground...

...for AMD.

If Samsung actually has infringed a patent it may suddenly find it cheaper to settle the matter not by buying itself out of it, but by buying AMD into itself....
