Apple's Exchange hook-up "a pity"

Comments

not going to work...

Until Apple makes the iphone use a foreground/background approach to apps (similar to Windows Mobile crap) running on the iphone, this can't work. "Punters" (as you cheeky Inq's say) will not like the fact the when you are entering that fancy new Exchange contact and/or calendar event and you begin to receive a call from someone that whatever you were currently typing in to the contact or calendar event is just lost due to the incoming call. Then after your call is done... you get to start all over typing in that contact or calendar event.

Try it out... Apple needs to resolve this ASAP because as a business "road warrior" myself, the iphone is useless right now.

Pushing the point...

Makes sense to me since Exchange does instant client push but Domino does not.

Can't please all the people all the time, but until Domino shows more growth I don't see a big problem here.

I love Apple, I mean OS X.

Excuse me, I do not love Apple, not at all. The overpriced, self loving corporate monster named Apple is loathsome, but they've got a good OS.

What to do, what to do?

Can anyone make a Linux distro worth considering?

I hope so.

I'd love to use Linux, but I must say that if the best thing Linux can offer is Ubuntu...
