3G is 200-300 Mbit/s? EDGE is 150 Mbit/s?WOW!
How much is it though?
I'd be interested in one of these if they were cheap enough (say under £50) and if the operators offered some sort of PAYG scheme.No doubt eventually the operators will offer something along these lines.
Did Sony Erricson give any ideas of pricing?

Wow! EDGE is amazing!
"If the modem can't get an HSDPA connexion, it will fall back tostandard 3G which is about 200-300 Mbit/s. Now that O2 is supporting EDGE in the UK, the modem can even fall back to that.EDGE offers about 150 Mbit/s."
So there we have it; EDGE is 20 times faster than HSDPA. Why did no-one tell Vodafone? ;-)
